Two Lombard Odier funds awarded by Lipper in the Swiss market
Lombard Odier is proud to announce that LODH Invest - Convertible Bond (EUR) and LODH Life Sciences Expertise Fund were both honored at the 2009 Lipper Fund Awards Switzerland ceremony held in Zurich on February 3, 2009. Awarded to funds in 21 countries throughout the world, the Lipper Fund Awards recognize mutual funds that have excelled in delivering consistently strong performance relative to their peers.LODH Invest - Convertible Bond (EUR) won a first prize in the Bond Convertibles Global category over the 5-year period to December 31, 2008. At this date, the fund returned +7.75% (against -7.94% for its benchmark) as from the introduction of the current benchmark on December 31, 2004. LODH Life Sciences Expertise Fund was awarded over 3 years to December 31, 2008 in the Equity Sector Pharmaceuticals and Health Care category, returning -3.33% over the period compared with -13.90% for its benchmark. This came as welcome news to Nathalia Barazal, head of convertible bond fund management at Lombard Odier:
